How do pupils get heard in Bryn Celynnog?

                           By getting involved in the

School Council.

Our council is developing a fine reputation as an active organization. Our recent inspection complimented students involved by saying that they displayed confidence and maturity and are outstanding for their commitment and hard work in leading or being involved in a wide range of projects.

Who is involved?

Membership is of 3 types.

Firstly elected members. Each year there are free elections onto the Council. 

Four students are elected for each year group.

The second type of membership is for those students who have already served as an elected member but who do not wish to stand for election again. These students have developed many skills during their term of office which the council does not wish to lose. Such students are awarded the title of School Ambassadors and are welcome at all meetings until they leave school.

The third and last type of membership is titled Co-Opted membership, these students are not elected but have a passion for action. They are always welcome at council meetings and provide valuable assisstance on many of our projects.

 At present the following students are serving members.
